Bhairav Nath Temple

Located south of the main Kedarnath shrine, the Bhairav Nath Temple is dedicated to the fierce manifestation of Lord Shiva. As the 'Kshetrapal' or the guardian of the valley, it is believed that during the months when the temple is closed due to snow, Bhairav Nath protects the entire Kedar region. A short but steep climb rewards pilgrims with a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire Kedar valley.

Gaurikund Hot Springs
